Free DVD for Museums from NASA's "Beyond Einstein" Program

Beyond Einstein DVD A free DVD is available from NASA's Beyond Einstein program for use in museum programming. Beyond Einstein is a series of space missions designed to answer the questions: What powered the Big Bang? What happens at the edge of a black hole? What is the mysterious dark energy pulling the Universe apart?

This DVD facilitates the understanding of these fascinating concepts by providing discussions of the science topics, gorgeous new animations and images, and interviews with top scientists on the current and future status of the field. These components, along with two- to five-minute segments of news stories are provided in separate loops for ease of use.

Feedback from those who received the DVD indicates that it can be used for audiences at high-school age and above, either as a self-contained program or as a resource to support other museum programming. Brief primers on the science topics that can be handed out to visitors are available as PDFs to download (four-page version and two-page version).

If you would like to request a DVD for use in your museum's programming, please send email to bedvd@athena.gsfc.nasa.gov and use "Request Beyond Einstein DVD" in the subject line. If you would like to order high-definition copies of the Beyond Einstein program, please contact:
